Anderson County is located in the state of Tennessee. The county was formed in November 6, 1801 and named after Joseph Anderson. The county seat is Clinton. As of 2010, the county has a population of 75,129. The county has a total area of 345 square miles, 337 square miles of which is land, and 7.6 square miles is water. Anderson County Clerk Information

The County Clerk – Oak Ridge office will be doing birth certificates Monday thru Friday. The cost of a birth certificate is $20.00, and you are required to bring an ID. There is a form that you can download, print and fill out and bring to the office that will expedite the process. The form requires the following information: full name on birth certificate, date and place of birth, full name of parents, siblings’ names, as well as other information required.
