Guadalupe County is located in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The county was formed in 1891 and named after Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patron saint of the Americas. The county seat is Santa Rosa. Guadalupe County Assessor’s Office Information
The Guadalupe County Assessor is responsible for valuing all real and personal property for the taxing authorities in the county, such as municipalities, school districts and hospital districts. Other responsibilities of the County Assessor are:

Guadalupe County Clerk’s Office Information
The Guadalupe County Clerk is responsible for keeping records such as resolutions, ordinances, deeds, marriage licenses, etc. The office also is responsible for issuing several types of permits and licenses for liquor establishments. The office is also responsible for administering elections in the county, supervising and preparing ballots and voting machines as well as training poll workers to administer the elections. The Clerk’s Office also works with the Office of the Probate Judge in handling informal probate proceedings in the administration of deceased people’s estates. Other miscellaneous duties include notary public, administration of oaths, certification of acknowledgment, declarations, instruments and protests.
The County Clerk’s Office is responsible for keeping records, resolutions and ordinances adopted by the Board of County Commissioners. The County Clerk serves as secretary to the commission and performs the following functions.
