Curry County is located in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The county was formed in 1909 and named after George Curry, a governor of New Mexico Territory from 1907 to 1910. The county seat is Clovis. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,408 square miles of which 1,405 square miles is land and 3.2 square miles is water. Curry County borders the following counties: Quay County to the northwest; Roosevelt County to the southwest; Bailey County, Texas to the southeast; Parmer County, Texas to the east and Deaf Smith County, Texas to the northeast. Curry County Clerk’s Office Information

The County Clerk is an elected official of Curry County. The County Clerk acts as ex-officio clerk of the County Probate Court as well as ex-officio clerk to the Curry County Board of Commissioners.
