The County Clerk for Mecosta County is responsible for all marriage, birth and death records, as well as personal protection orders, military discharges, concealed weapons permits, circuit and family court filings and fees, assumed names, notary public documents and divorce decrees. Many of the documents related to vital records can be purchased and viewed online, for a processing fee of $12.95 and a general fee of $10. Additional information about fee schedules is available online and records can be retrieved in person, from the office, but is not available online.
