Republic County is located in the state of Kansas. The county was formed in February 27, 1860 and named after the Republican River. The county seat is Belleville. As of 2013, the county has a population of 4820. The county has a total area of 720.31 square miles, 716.38 square miles of which is land, and 3.93 square miles is water. The county consists of 11 ZIP codes, with ZIP code 66935 recorded as the one with the largest population. Republic County borders the following counties: Thayer County, Nebraska to the north; Cloud County, Kansas to the south; Washington County, Kansas to the east; Jewell County, Kansas to the west; Jefferson County, Nebraska to the northeast, and; Nuckolls County, Nebraska to the northwest.

Register of Deeds

Appraiser
