Henry County is located in the U.S. state of Alabama. The county was formed in 1819 and named after Patrick Henry, who was a Governor of Virginia and Revolutionary War hero. Henry County Probate Court Information
The Probate Judge is the custodian of all county buildings, funds, and inventories. The Probate Judge is also the Chief Election Official for the county. It is the Probate Judge’s responsibility to certify candidates for the elections, ordering elections supplies, preparing voters lists, preparing elections machines for voting, etc. The Probate Judge also collects fees for various licenses such as vehicles, businesses, hunting, fishing, mortgage tax, deed tax, casual sales tax, and so on.
