Miller County is located in the U.S. state of Missouri. The county was formed in 1837 and named after John Miller, an American publisher and politician from St. Louis, Missouri. He was the fourth Governor of Missouri and represented Missouri in the U.S. House. The county seat is Tuscumbia. Miller County Recorder’s Office Information

The responsibility of the Recorder’s Office of Miller County is to file, record, maintain and preserve all the land/real estate records of Miller County. This office also records marriage licenses and military discharge documents. The recorder’s office does not prepare deeds or have blank deeds. Once a deed is prepared the deed is mailed or brought to our office for recording. Recording fees are $24.00 for the first page and $3.00 for each additional page. Certified copies are $2.00 including $0.50 for each page. Copies are $0.50 per page.
