Located near the western border of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, Newaygo County is approximately 862 square miles, 48 of which are water. It is bordered by Lake County to the north, Mecosta and Montcalm Counties to the east, Oceana County to the west and Kent and Muskegon Counties to the south.
