Red River Parish is located in the northwestern portion of Louisiana in the Sportsman’s Paradise Region. The Parish is land-locked and is 402 square miles with 13 square miles of water. Red River Parish is aptly named after the Red River that cuts through the Parish. It is bordered by Caddo Parish in the northwest, Bossier Parish to the north, Bienville Parish to the northeast, Natchitoches Parish to the southeast, and De Soto Parish to the west. The Parish Clerk is responsible for information related to birth, death and marriage records, personal protection orders, military discharge, concealed weapons permits, circuit and family court information and election results.
