Noble County is located in the U.S. state of Indiana. The county was formed in 1835 and named after U.S. Senator James Noble or Governor of Indiana Noah Noble, brothers. The county seat is Albion. According to the U.S. Census Bureau of 2013, the county has a population of approximately 47,570people. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 417.43 square miles of which 410.84 square miles is land and 6.59 square miles is water. Noble County borders the following counties: LaGrange County to the north; Elkhart County to the northwest; Kosciusko County to the southwest; Whitley County to the south; DeKalb County to the east; Allen County to the southeast; and Steuben County to the northeast.
