Hendry County Clerk Information

The Property Appraiser of Hendry County is charged with placing a fair and equitable market value on every parcel of property both real estate and tangible in the county. Other responsibilities of the Property Appraiser include the administration of exemptions (homestead, widows, widowers, blind, disability and total exemptions,) maintenance of property ownership records, and maintaining aerial photographs of the county.

Court Clerk Information

The Recording Division of the Clerk’s Office is the central depository for all documents recorded in the Official Records Books of Hendry County as required by Florida Statute. These records include, but are not limited to deeds, mortgages, assignments, satisfactions, subdivision plats, deed restrictions, agreements, claims of lien, notices, tax warrants, final judgments, probate documents and other instruments relating to the ownership, transfer, encumbrance of or claims against real property or any interest in it.
