Gulf County is a county located in the state of Florida. The county was formed in June 6, 1925. Named after Gulf of Mexico, the county seat is Port St. Joe and it has a population of 15829 as of 2013. The county has a total area of 756 square miles, with its land area encompassing 564 square miles, and its water area 192 square miles. The county consists of 2 ZIP codes. The Gulf County Property Appraiser is responsible for identifying, locating, and fairly valuing all property, both real and personal, within the county for tax purposes. The property appraiser also

Court Clerk Information

The Clerk of Courts has been established by the Florida Constitution to serve the public in three primary areas including Clerk of the Circuit and County Courts, Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, and County Recorder. Within these areas, the Clerk of Court, as an elected public trustee, sets in place at the county level, a system of “checks and balances” which has been proven to service the public well.
