Wood County is located in the West Central region of Wisconsin. The county seat is Wisconsin Rapids. The county was created in 1856 and named in honor of a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, Joseph Wood. The county’s total area measures 809 square miles with a population of 74,749 (2010). Wood County Officials Information

The County Clerk is responsible for administering all county-wide elections, overseeing voter registration, and publishing election results.
