Pacific County can be located in the Coastal region of Washington. The county seat is South Bend. The county was created in 1851 by the government of Oregon Territory. It was named after the Pacific Ocean which borders its shores. The county’s total area is 1,223 square miles. Based on the 2017 census, there are around 21,626 people living in this county. The area is bordered in the north by Grays Harbor County, in the east by Lewis County, in the southeast by Wahkiakum County, and in the south by Clatsop County (OR). Pacific County Officials Information

The County Clerk is responsible for the safekeeping of all court records in Pacific County. He or she also serves as the administrative and financial officer of the Superior Court. As Clerk of Court, he/she must also attend all hearings and maintain an independent record of all proceedings which are made available to the public. He or she must also collect statutory fees, fines, trust funds, and support funds, maintain a trust account for the monies collected, and disburse the monies as ordered by the court.
