Lincoln County is located in the Eastern Region of Washington. Davenport serves as the county seat. In 1883, a portion of Whitman County was used to create Lincoln County. It was named in honor of the 16th US President, Abraham Lincoln. Based on the 2017 census, the county is the fifth least populated county in the state with approximately 10,579 people living in the 2,339-square mile area.
