Garfield County, Washington Overview
Garfield County is located in the Eastern region of Washington. Its county seat is Pomeroy which also happens to be the only city in the state. Created in 1881, the county was named in honor of the 20th US President, James Abram Garfield. According to the 2017, there are around 2,210 people living in the 718-square mile area which makes this the least populated county in Washington. The adjacent counties are Whitman County in the north, Asotin County in the east, Wallowa County in the south, and Columbia County in the west. The zip code is 99347.
