District Clerk

The District Clerk provides support for the 63rd and 83rd District Courts of Val Verde County. The Clerk is the custodian of all court pleadings and papers that are part of any cause of action, civil or criminal in the District Courts. The same is also provided to the County Court-At-Law Family Law and Juvenile cases. Our office indexes and secures all court records, collects filing fees and handles funds held in litigation and money awarded to minors. Other duties include Jury selection and assignment for Grand Jury panels and Petit juries upon requests from the District Courts.
