Tarrant County is located in the state of Texas. The county was formed in 1850 and named after Edward H. Tarrant. The county seat is Fort Worth. As of 2010, the county has a population of 1,809,034. The county has a total area of 902 square miles, 864 square miles of which is land, and 39 square miles is water. District Clerk
