Ochiltree County is located in the state of Texas. The county was formed in 1889 and named after W. B. Ochiltree. The county seat is Perryton. As of 2010, the county has a population of 10,223. The county has a total area of 918 square miles, 918 square miles of which is land, and 0.5 square miles is water. Application to Order a Birth or Death Certificate directly from Ochiltree County Clerk. Read carefully and follow the instructions, including sending a photocopy of your valid photo ID.

Birth and Death Certificate Application:

To get a Marriage License both parties must come to the County Clerk’s Office and have Valid State Issued Photo ID’s. There is a 72 hours waiting period after getting your license before you can get married and the license is good for 90 days. If you cannot meet all of these requirements please contact the County Clerk’s Office for more information, as there are exceptions to these rules.

If you are requesting a Ballot By Mail because you will be out of town. You must be out of town during the full Early Voting time period and on Election Day. The ballot must also be mailed to an address outside of Ochiltree County. If you are 65 or older or you are disabled you can qualify for an Annual Ballot By Mail.
