Gregg County is located in the state of Texas. The county was formed in 1873 and named after Gen. John Gregg. The county seat is Longview. As of 2010, the county has a population of 121,730. The county has a total area of 276 square miles, 273 square miles of which is land, and 2.5 square miles is water.
