Brown County, Ohio

Located on the southern border of Ohio, Brown County is named after an officer from the War of 1812, Major General Jacob Brown, who was injured at the Battle of Lundy’s Lane. With 493 square miles, approximately 490 of which are land, Brown County had approximately 44,846 people as of the 2010 census. It is surrounded by Clinton County to the north, Highland County to the northeast, Adams County to the east, Mason County, Kentucky to the south, Bracken County, Kentucky to the southwest and Clermont County to the west.
