Ashtabula County, Ohio

Located in the upper north eastern corner of Ohio, Ashtabula County had a population of approximately 101, 497 people as of the 2010 census. It is comprised of 1,368 square miles, 702 of which is land. Known for the 17 covered bridges that are located in the county it includes both the shortest and longest in the United States. The county is surrounded by Erie County, Pennsylvania to the northeast, Crawford County, Pennsylvania to the east, Trumbull County to the south, Geauga County to the southwest and Lake County to the west, as well as being located on Lake Erie. It contains 19 different zip codes, the most populous of which are: 44004, 44030, 44041, 44003 and 44047.
