Lincoln County is located in the U.S. state of Nevada. The county was formed in 1866 and named after Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth President of the United States. The county seat is Pioche. According to the U.S. Census Bureau of 2015, the county has a population of approximately 5,036 people. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 10,637 square miles of which 10,633 square miles is land and 3.8 square miles is water. Lincoln County borders the following counties: White Pine County to the north; Millard County, Utah to the northeast/Mountain Time Border; Beaver County, Utah to the east/Mountain Time Border; Iron County, Utah to the east/Mountain Time Border; Washington County, Utah to the east/Mountain Time Border; Mohave County, Arizona to the southeast/Mountain Time Border; Clark County, Nevada to the south and Nye County, Nevada to the west. Seventh District Court days are the second and fourth Fridays of every month and take place in the Lincoln County Courthouse.

Jury Duty:

Lincoln County Clerk’s Office Information

The County Clerk acts as the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners and maintains minutes of the meetings of the Board of County Commissioners.
