The primary duty of the Laclede County Recorder’s Office is to record, file and maintain various documents pertaining to real estate and real estate transactions. These documents include deeds, deeds of trust, releases, easements, surveys, plats, restrictions, cemetery deeds, wills, road right of ways, articles of incorporation, patents, affidavits, etc. The Recorder’s Office also processes passport applications.
