Cass County is located in the U.S. state of Missouri. The county was formed in 1835 and named after U.S. Senator Lewis Cass of Michigan who later became a presidential candidate. The Cass County Recorder’s office is the repository for all Cass County land transactions. The Recorder’s duties include reviewing, processing, recording and delivering back to the submitter all transfers of property and related documents in a timely manner.
