Butler, a U.S. Representative from Kentucky and vice-presidential nominee under Lewis Cass. The county seat is Poplar Bluff. Butler County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office Information

The Circuit Clerk is responsible for maintaining records of the court, collecting, accounting for, and disbursing all monies paid into the court; and performing other duties, as necessary to assist the court in performing its duties.

The Circuit Clerk is also responsible for these activities:

  • Receive, process, and maintain the judgments, rules, orders, and all other proceedings of the court
