Audrain County is located in the U.S. state of Missouri. The county was formed in 1831 and named after James H. Audrain, a War of 1812 colonel Missouri State Legislator. The county seat is Mexico. Audrain County Recorder’s Office Information

The County Recorder of Deeds keeps official records of real estate transfers, deeds of trust, UCC subdivision plats, surveys, and discharges from armed services, tax liens, and marriage licenses. Audrain County Recorder’s Office maintains records of all documents dealing with land transactions in Audrain County. This office has land records since 1837 and is indexed by year and name.
