The County Clerk for Van Buren County is responsible for maintaining all court files, vital records including births, deaths and marriages, supervising elections, assumed name certificates, notary public applications and concealed weapons permits. These records are not available online, however many of the forms needed to make a request are available online. Further information is available by in person request, during normal business hours.
The Register of Deeds is responsible for all information related to real and personal property within the county of Van Buren. These records are considered public record and therefore can be purchased or viewed from the office by in person request.
