The County Clerk for Sanilac County is responsible for birth, marriage and death records as well as personal protection orders, elections, name change requests, notary public information, concealed pistol licenses, military discharges and DBA’s. Most of these records are not available online, however many of the forms needed to request them are available. Requests for the records themselves can be made in person, during normal business hours. Birth certificates, marriage, divorce and death licenses can be ordered online or by mail.
