The Iosco County Clerk is responsible for voter records, election records, birth and death certificates, marriage licenses, personal protection orders, concealed weapon permits and military discharges. She is also responsible for any notary public documents and juror information as well as court records. These documents are not available online, however forms for concealed pistol permits can be found online. All other documents must be requested and picked up directly at the office of the County Clerk.

The Register of Deeds is responsible for deeds, mortgages, liens, leases and releases of property, both real and personal, within the county. These documents are considered public record however they are not available online. Only country and state transfer tax exemptions forms, transfer tax charts, fee information and recording requirements are available online. All other forms and requests must be made in person, during normal business hours, though most of these documents are considered public record.

The equalization office keeps track of cash value for all classifications of property and is responsible for the starting base for each year’s equalization. These documents are considered public record and are available to view and purchase from the office.
