Located near the middle of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, Clare County comprises approximately 575 square miles, only 11 of which is water. Right in the heart of the state, this is one area that definitely has plenty of land and about 30,569 people as of the 2013 census. Bordered to the east by Gladwin County, the south by Isabella County, the west by Osceola County and the north by both Roscommon County and Missaukee County, it’s a thoroughfare to a number of great places throughout the country.
