Cecil County is located in the state of Maryland. The county was formed on June 6, 1674, and named after Cecil Calvert, 2nd Baron Baltimore and the first Proprietary Governor of the Province (colony) of Maryland. Elkton is the largest city in the county and also the county seat. These records are considered private and can only be requested and viewed by those that they are about.
