Trimble County is located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The county was formed in 1837 and named after Robert Trimble, who was an Associate Supreme Court Justice. The county seat is Bedford. Trimble County borders the following counties: Jefferson County, Indiana to the northwest; Carroll County to the east; Henry County to the southeast and Oldham County to the southwest.
