Fulton County is located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The county was formed in 1845 and named after Robert Fulton, the inventor of the first commercially successful steamboat. The responsibilities of the Fulton County Clerk’s Office are issuing marriage licenses, vehicle licenses, titling of new vehicles, collecting delinquent real estate taxes, and recording various land records. Land records include deeds, condominiums, corporate records, fixture and other UCC filings, land records fees, land use restrictions, liens, mortgages, plats, releases, and wills. Other responsibilities of the County Clerk are issuing Notary bonds, bail bonds, and selling fishing and hunting licenses.
