Register of Deeds
The Register of Deeds Office is responsible for recording all transactions relating to real estate in Stevens County. This includes deeds, mortgages, oil and gas leases, platted additions to all cities in the county, financing statements and agreements on personal property under the uniform commercial code, federal and state tax liens, mechanics liens on personal property, corporation papers, powers of attorney and military discharges. Appraiser
The County Appraiser is responsible for discovering, listing, and valuing all property within Stevens County and must follow state laws when meeting these responsibilities.
