Warren County is located in the U.S. state of Indiana. The county was formed in 1827 and named after Dr. Joseph Warren, an American Revolutionary War hero. The county seat is Williamsport. According to the U.S. Census Bureau of 2013, the county has a population of approximately 8,415 people. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 366.40 square miles, of which 364.68 square miles is land and 1.72 square miles is water. Warren County borders the following counties: Benton County to the north; Tippecanoe County to the east; Fountain County to the south; and Vermillion County to the west.
