Tipton County is located in the U.S. state of Indiana. The county was formed in 1844 and named after John Tipton, U.S. Senator. The county seat is Tipton. Tipton County Clerk’s Office Information

The Tipton County Clerk administers the county’s official Circuit Court records, issues and processes marriage licenses, collects and distributes child support payments, and provides tax warrant information. The Clerk is also the member of the County Election Board and is responsible for overseeing voter registration, absentee voting, and conducting all elections in the county which includes all federal, state, county, municipal, special and school board elections.
