Rush County is located in the U.S. state of Indiana. The county was formed in 1821 and named after Dr. Benjamin Rush, signer the Declaration of Independence. The county seat is Rushville. Rush County Clerk’s Office Information

The Clerk is responsible for administering elections and voter registration. The Clerk also administers the official court records for all court cases with jurisdiction in that county, prepares the Court’s permanent historical record, and processes and issues documents for court cases. Other responsibilities of the Clerk’s office include the collection, distributions, and reconciliation of monies pertaining to court cases.
