Kosciusko County is located in the U.S. state of Indiana. The county was formed in 1835 and named after Tadeusz Kościuszko, Polish-born hero of the American Revolutionary War and leader of a Polish nationalistic revolt against Russia. The county seat is Warsaw. According to the U.S. Census Bureau of 2010, the county has a population of approximately 77,963 people. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 554.39 square miles of which 531.38 square miles is land and 23.01 square miles is water. Kosciusko County borders the following counties: Elkhart County to the north; Noble County to the northeast; Whitley County to the southeast; Wabash County to the south; Fulton County to the southwest and Marshall County to the west. Kosciusko County Clerk’s Office Information
The Clerk of the Circuit and Superior Courts administers the official court records for all trial court cases with jurisdiction in Kosciusko County, prepares the permanent historical records for the courts and processes and issues various documents for those court cases. As a member of the County Election Board, the Clerk overseas, conducts and certifies election results for all Federal, State, County, Township, Municipal, Special and School Board Elections.
