Suwannee County is located in the state of Florida. The county was formed in December 21, 1858 and named after the Suwannee River. The county seat is Live Oak. As of 2013, the county has a population of 43734. The county has a total area of 692 square miles, 689 square miles of which is land, and 3.7 square miles is water. The Property Appraiser of Suwannee County is charged with placing a fair and equitable market value on every parcel of property both real estate and tangible in the county.
