Levy County is a county located in the state of Florida. The county was formed in March 10, 1845. Named after David Levy Yulee, the county seat is Bronson and it has a population of 39644 as of 2013. The county has a total area of 1413 square miles, with its land area encompassing 1118 square miles, and its water area 295 square miles.
