Named after Andrew Jackson, the county seat is Marianna and it has a population of 48922 as of 2013. Court Clerk Information

The Office of the Clerk is a complex organization that performs a wide range of record keeping, information management and financial management for the judicial system and county government. Jackson County’s Clerk of Courts has three major responsibilities: Clerk of the Circuit and County Courts; County Recorder; and Clerk, Accountant, and Auditor to the Board of County Commissioners.
