Escambia County Clerk Information

The Escambia County Property Appraiser is primarily responsible for identifying, locating, and valuing all property within the county for ad valorem tax purposes. He is also responsible for administering exemptions, mapping all parcels and classifying agricultural lands. Being custodian of certain county records, he must maintain property record cards, subdivision plats, ownership maps, sales data records and prior tax rolls. From these records, one can access our files, determine building size, a description of its components, and property characteristics.

The Property Appraiser’s website offers a real estate search, as well as a tangible property search. The real estate search is a comprehensive search facility with several parameters to search from, like location address, owner name, and 16-digit reference number. An advanced search criteria is also available to help narrow down your search. The search yields results where each result can be shown its card to show more information about it. The tangible property search works similarly.
