Images of Official Records can be accessed through the internet and by on-site research through the records department. To do a public records search online, you will have to visit the Citrus County Records Department Website. The website has easy to follow steps and links that will direct you to the records that are available. In addition, the website has the fee schedule applicable when requesting records. Only those images authorized by Florida Statute to be made publicly available can be accessed via the website.

The other way to obtain public records is by visiting the records department in person. There are public access research stations located at the Clerk’s satellite location in Crystal River. The fee applicable is the same as when requesting records online. Alternatively, you can call the records department at (352) 341-6424; though you cannot access records through the phone, it is a sure way to obtain information about public records.
