Crowley County is located in the U.S. state of Colorado. The county was formed in 1911 and named after Colorado State Senator John H. Crowley. The county seat is Ordway. According to the U.S. Census Bureau of 2013, the county has a population of approximately 5,322 people. Crowley County borders the following counties: Lincoln County to the north; El Paso County to the northwest; Otero County to the south; Kiowa County to the east; and Pueblo County to the west. Crowley County Clerk Office Information

The Clerk and Recorder act as the clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, the agent of the state Department of Revenue, and the recorder of deeds. The Clerk and Recorder Office is responsible for certification of automobile titles, motor vehicle registration, and implementing state laws relating to motor vehicles. The Clerk is also responsible for holding all primary, general, and special elections held in the county. Another duty of the Clerk is registering voters, appointing election judges, printing ballots, distributing of votes, and announcing election notices.
