Mesa County is located in the U.S. state of Colorado. The county was formed in 1883. This county was named after the many large mesas in the area, including Grand Mesa. The county seat is Grand Junction. According to the U.S. Census Bureau of 2013, the county has a population of approximately 147,554 people. Mesa County borders the following counties: Garfield County to the north; Pitkin County to the east; Gunnison County to the east; Delta County to the southeast; Montrose County to the south; and Grand County, Utah to the west. The County Clerk and Recorder serves statutorily as the Clerk to the Board of County. The Clerk to the Board attends; records and maintains the official records of the Board of County Commissioners’ public meetings. Mesa County Court and Case Information

Requests for information can either be made in person or through the US Mail. If you plan to mail in your request and you are asking for information about your own case you must include a copy of your driver’s license. If you are requesting information about another person’s case certain documents and personal data may be withheld due to confidentiality policies. A notarized statement from at least one of the individuals named in the case is required to access the case records. You also need to include the information or copies you wish to obtain and the case number. The cost of copies is $ 0.75 per pages and certified copies are $20 per document. There is also an additional $ .75 per page copy fee.
