Tehama County, California
Tehama County is located in the northern part of the state of California; the county was formed in 1856 from parts of Butte, Colusa, and Shasta Counties. The county was named after the city of Tehama. According to a census done in 2010 by the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a population of approximately 63,463 and a total area of 2,962 square miles. Red Bluff is the largest city in the county and also the county seat.
