Pike County is located in the U.S. state of Alabama. The county was formed in 1821 and named after Zebulon Pike, an explorer, and an officer in War of 1812. The county seat is Troy. The responsibility of the Pike County Revenue Commissioner includes mapping, recording, appraising and assessing new and existing properties in the county, and collecting property taxes according to the assessments.
