Cleburne County is located in the U.S. state of Alabama. The county was formed in 1866 and named after Patrick Cleburne, a major general in Confederate States Army. The county seat is Heflin. Cleburne County Circuit Clerk Information

The Circuit Clerk is the chief administrative and fiscal officer for the court system both at the district and circuit level. This position has a term of six years and is elected according to the Alabama Constitution. The administrative responsibilities include personnel management, purchasing inventory, inventory control, and court planning. The Circuit Court is also responsible in issuing writs, jury summons, witness subpoenas and other kinds of summons. Jury management is another responsibility of the Circuit Clerk.
