Your County Clerk’s Office is responsible for the recording and filing public documents, issuing marriage licenses, deeds for homes, registering voters, administering elections, maintaining official documents for elected County Officers, such documents include: Ordinances, Resolutions, and Licenses. The County Clerk also serves as Clerk to the Probate Court. They are responsible for keeping records of deeds and marriage licenses and most other public records. They also issue permits for parades and parties, as well as many licenses to citizens to have fires.
